What makes this different from a course, class, or coaching program?

This is not a program to complete or a goal to accomplish.

The Embodied Community of Practice is a sacred, living space—one where we return again and again to breath, awareness, and truth together. There is no rush toward an outcome, no pressure to “improve” yourself, and no finish line to cross.

Rather than consuming information, we practice being—listening deeply, softening into presence, and allowing wisdom to unfold in its own time. The year-long container matters because real spiritual growth does not happen in bursts; it happens through rhythm, relationship, and steady devotion.

Can I join if I’m busy parenting, working full time, or carrying many responsibilities?

Yes. This space was created for you.

You do not need more to-do lists or expectations. You are welcome exactly as you are—tired, devoted, stretched, curious, longing. Some months you may come fully present; other months you may simply receive quietly.

This community does not ask you to escape your life. It supports you in meeting your life with more breath, more compassion, and more inner steadiness.

What does participation look like month to month?

Each month we gather live on Zoom to practice together in real time. These gatherings include meditation, embodied breathwork, moments of silence, and gentle teaching.

Between calls, you are invited into reflection through journaling, self-inquiry, and simple practices that can be woven into everyday life. Nothing is mandatory. Everything is invitational.

The practice is not about doing more—it is about remembering to return.

When are the live community calls?

Our live community gatherings will take place on the following dates, all at 7:00 pm Eastern Time and will be 90 minutes in length:

  • January 28

  • February 24

  • March 24

  • April 21

  • May 19

  • June 16

  • July 14

  • August 11

  • September 15

  • October 13

  • November 10

  • December 8

Each gathering is a spacious, unhurried invitation to pause, breathe, and practice together in real time. If you are unable to attend live, a full recording will be shared within the community so you may return to the practice in your own rhythm and time.

Presence is always honored—whether live or later.

What changes might I notice over the year?

Many participants notice a deepening rather than a dramatic shift.

You may experience:

  • A greater sense of inner calm and clarity

  • More spaciousness around stress and emotion

  • A renewed connection to meaning, purpose, and intuition

  • An increased ability to stay grounded during uncertainty

Your experience will be shaped by your own openness, vulnerability, and willingness to engage. The more honestly you meet yourself—and allow yourself to be witnessed—the more this practice can meet you in return.

How is confidentiality handled?

This community is rooted in trust and care.

Live sessions are recorded and shared only within the community. You are welcome to use initials or a chosen name, and cameras are always optional. Sharing is never required.

When personal sharing occurs, there is no cross-talk—no fixing, advising, or responding—so that each voice may be honored without interruption. What is shared in this space stays within this space.

Why should I trust Swami Jaya Devi to lead this community?

I lead from lived experience, long-term devotion, and deep reverence for the inner journey.

These practices have been lived and shared in yoga studios, universities, corporations, and monasteries across the world. My role is not to lead you toward a belief, but to hold a steady, compassionate container where your own wisdom can emerge.

Trust here is not demanded. It is allowed to unfold slowly, gently, and organically.

Can I join late or leave early from live sessions?

Yes. Life moves, and this practice honors that.

There is a five-minute grace period at the beginning of each live gathering. If you arrive later than that—or need to leave early—the full recording will be shared with you the following day.

You are never punished for tending to your life.

Is there a refund or cancellation policy?

Yes. You may cancel for a full refund up until midnight on January 28, the night of our first live Zoom gathering.

This allows you to participate in the first session, feel into the space, and discern whether it is right for you. If it does not feel nourishing or supportive, you are welcome to step away within that window.

What if I’m going through a hard season emotionally?

You are still welcome here—perhaps especially so.

This community does not require you to be “whole,” calm, or certain. You are free to listen quietly, to receive without sharing, or to step back as needed.

While this is not therapy, it is a space guided with care, pacing, and respect for emotional tenderness. You are always encouraged to seek additional professional support if needed.

How do you cultivate psychological and spiritual safety?

Safety here is not assumed—it is intentionally practiced and protected.

We cultivate it through clear agreements, consent-based sharing, a no-fixing culture, and deep respect for each person’s pace, beliefs, and lived experience.

Spiritual safety means you are never asked to override your intuition or surrender your agency. Psychological safety means you are met with dignity, gentleness, and care.

This is a place to arrive as you are.
